Rooted Pleasure ~ Emerald May (she/her) is a Somatic Intimacy Coach & Bodyworker who helps people cultivate authentic, connected, and satisfying relationships with their bodies and each other. Her work blends somatic awareness, breath, and pleasure-based practices to support regulation, healing, and embodied confidence. With a grounded, playful, and trauma-informed approach, Emerald creates brave spaces for clients to explore intimacy, desire, and self-trust at their own pace. Her practice is queer-, kink-, and poly-affirming. Sliding scale available for BIPOC and solo parent households.
Rooted Breathwork ~ Emerald May (she/her) is a trauma-informed Breathwork Coach and Somatic Educator supporting children and adults in building nervous system resilience and emotional well-being. Through Rooted Breathwork, she teaches practical, easy, age-appropriate tools to reduce anxiety, improve focus, and foster calm connection in everyday life. Drawing from her background in child development and somatic education, Emerald’s sessions are compassionate, evidence-informed, fun, and empowering helping each person feel more grounded, centered, and at home in themselves. A 4-Month In-Person Container
This four-month Rooted Pleasure container is a deeply held, trauma-informed space for people who want to cultivate a more connected, embodied, and authentic relationship with pleasure, intimacy, and self-trust.
Designed for those ready to slow down and go deeper, this work supports you to listen to your body with clarity, name your needs and desires, strengthen boundaries, and expand your capacity for receiving and experiencing pleasure, without rushing or performing.
Over four months, we’ll weave together somatic coaching, sexological bodywork, breathwork, and relational practices to support lasting change that lives not just in insight, but in your nervous system and daily life. Sessions are responsive and client-centered, meeting you exactly where you are, and unfolding at a pace that feels sustainable and resourcing.
This container is especially supportive if you’re navigating themes such as shame, numbness, over-functioning, difficulty receiving, people-pleasing, or longing for more pleasure and aliveness without overwhelm. Integration is a core part of the work, with ongoing support between sessions to help new patterns land and take root.

Rooted Pleasure Practice Circles are guided, trauma-informed spaces to explore pleasure, boundaries, and connection through embodied practice and community.
These circles invite you to slow down, listen to your body, and practice asking for and receiving what you want, without pressure, performance, or expectation. Using consent-centered frameworks, breath, and somatic guidance, we explore pleasure as something regulating, nourishing, and relational.
Practices may include communication exercises, sensory awareness, and platonic, non-sexual, non-romantic touch, with multiple ways to participate and opt in or out. You are always invited to move at your own pace, honoring your capacity and nervous system.
These circles are about practicing together, in a way that is grounded, human, and deeply supportive.

Rooted Breathwork 1:1 coaching offers personalized, trauma-informed breathwork support for adults and children, designed to help regulate the nervous system and build lifelong tools for emotional wellbeing.
Sessions are tailored to each individual’s needs, age, and capacity, using evidence-informed breath practices to support stress reduction, emotional regulation, improved focus, better sleep, and greater resilience. For children, sessions are playful, accessible, and developmentally appropriate; for adults, they are practical, grounding, and deeply supportive.
This work is especially helpful for anxiety, overwhelm, chronic stress, emotional reactivity, or difficulty slowing down. Sessions move at a pace that feels safe and sustainable, with simple practices that integrate easily into daily life.
